  20.   Yea, it is too bad that NewTek did not offer us a student 
  21. deal..but we cn not win 'em all..Hey, I am happy that i got 
  22. Windows NT Workstation 3.51 for only $95!!! It included Intel, 
  23. MIPS, Aplpha, DEC and Power PC versions all in the same 
  24. box..So, all you college bashers can eat that ;)!!
  25.    Plus, I got Photoshop for $200..so hey be happy..We still 
  26. get some great deals for all the suffering we are experiencing 
  27. right now...I can not wait to order KAI Power filters :) and 
  28. .and..and....

  30.   NewTek is a baby compared to AutoDesk and some of the other 
  31. already well established 3D companies...so i can see where 
  32. they fear giving student discounts..they're making a big leap 
  33. in to a very competitve world..so let's give them some 
  34. credit..if five years from now..they do not offer student 
  35. discounts..that might not be wise...cuz support is MADE in the 
  36. universities..whatever the universities teach with..and use is 
  37. what people are most comfortable with...remember when 
  38. WordPerfect was king?? HA! MS-WORD is the word here in Cal 
  39. State and UC Universities.
